I free offer an initial free half hour session.
Entering into a therapeutic relationship is a very personal and often challenging thing to do. It is therefore important that you feel both comfortable and confident to discuss the sensitive details of your personal experiences with someone that you trust.
As well as helping me to assess your needs, a free initial consultation allows you to decide if working with me feels right for you. There is absolutely no obligation to proceed to a course of therapy if you are not one hundred percent comfortable with the way I work.
How to book and appointment
To book an appointment you can call my mobile phone 07785505310 if I am unable to answer then please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can or you can email me on maria.fielding1@btinternet.com
Availability
I generally work the following days and times (I can sometimes offer more flexibility):
- Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays from 9am till 5pm
- and can offer evening appointments on Thursdays & Fridays the latest being 6:30pm to 7:30 pm
- and some Saturdays between 10am and 12md.
Cancellation Policy
From time to time it may be necessary to cancel appointments. I operate a cancellation policy whereby I ask that if you should need to cancel your appointment I require a minimum of 24 hours notice of your intention to do this. This is so I don’t incur the cost of renting the room or miss the opportunity to allow that appointment slot to be used for another client. In the event of failure to comply with this then the full cost of the therapy session will be requested at the rate of £48. This applies to the free initial session also.
- In all cases, except smoking, each session generally runs from between 50 minutes and 1 hour and costs £48 per session.
- Smoking Cessation last between ninety minutes and up-to 2 hours and costs £120 for the whole session.
How many sessions will I need?
Each case needs to be assessed on an individual basis as everyone’s experience and issues will be very different. Many conditions can be helped relatively quickly where others may take longer and sometimes may require long term work. The initial free appointment will help me to assess this. The exception to this is smoking cessation (see above)
