Weight Management course – every Wednesday for 6 weeks from Wednesday 28th September at Radbrook Green Community Centre in Shrewsbury

There will be 6 sessions of an hour and a half a week for six weeks. There will be small groups of no more than 12 and the sessions will be relaxed, informal and interactive, so you can share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

There will be: NO weighing in; NO diet plans: NO restrictions about what you can and can’t eat; NO ‘special foods’ and definitely NO calorie counting.

The sessions include:

  • ·        Setting worthwhile and achievable goals
  • ·        How stress affects weight loss
  • ·        Recognising the triggers for over-eating
  • ·        Portion control.
  • ·        Cravings – and how to combat them.
  • ·        Emotional and comfort eating
  • ·        Exercise (not what you might think!)
  • A free CD to reinforce the positive messages to yourself.
  • A comprehensive information pack.
